Microdermabrasion
What is Microdermabrasion ?
Microdermabrasion is a high demand cosmetic procedure. It is a non-invasive exfoliating procedure that can dramatically improve and revitalize the appearance of the skin in as little as 30 minutes. It can be used to address problems on virtually any part of the body.
How Does Microdermabrasion work?
At the ageless beauty skincare clinic, we offer the best in Microdermabrasion technology: Microdermabrasion is a gentle exfoliation that is performed with a diamond-encrusted applicator tip. The tip passes over the skin's surface and creates a gentle vacuum. The diamond tip gently exfoliates approximately 20-25 microns of dead skin cells of the outermost layer (stratum corneum). Once removed, it reveals one’s own fresher, younger-looking skin beneath.

Side Effects of Microdermabrasion
The most common side effect of the procedure is a slight redness to the skin for an hour or two after the procedure. Some patients find that they may blush more easily for a day or two after the treatment due to increased blood flow to the skin surface. Makeup can be applied right away and can easily cover any redness from the procedure.
Microdermabrasion Acne Treatment
Microdermabrasion has been found to be a very effective treatment for controlling and reducing the overall appearance of acne. As with most other acne treatments, microdermabrasion for acne results differ from person to person, depending on the individual’s specific skin and acne types. Many of our patients find that they can see results from the first day. The reason that acne microdermabrasion is so effective is that it is able to kill bacteria and unclog pores in a way that no other treatment is able to. Unlike products that only claim that they are able to penetrate deep into the skin, microdermabrasion actually can. It literally strips off the top layer of dead skin and sucks all of the impurities and bacteria straight out of your pores, without damaging your living skin.
